After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Serra, Van Nuys was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Grant Lancers as they made off with a 7-1 victory. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 9-2 win the Lancers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.
Joel Enciso made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Enciso was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.
