Treutlen has gone 9-1 against Dublin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Treutlen will head out to face off against Dublin at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Treutlen took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Montgomery County get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

The result came thanks to Gavin Wood's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks. Those 14 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Caden Parrish was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Kylan Page was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
Dublin never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Northeast last Friday. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 20-5 victory. The Fighting Irish's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The team relied heavily on Tyrese Robinson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Willie Batts, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Dublin hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Dublin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Treutlen's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Treutlen has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Dublin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Treutlen's way against Dublin in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Treutlen made off with a 25-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Treutlen since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
