Jefferson is 9-0 against Daingerfield since November of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Jefferson Bulldogs will get right back to it and host the Daingerfield Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. The timing is sure in Jefferson's favor as the team sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Daingerfield has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Jefferson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Big Sandy, posting a 81-50 victory at home. Considering Jefferson has won eight contests by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, even though Pewitt scored an imposing 56 points two weeks ago, Daingerfield still came out on top. Daingerfield blew past Pewitt 80-56. That 80-56 margin sets a new team best for Daingerfield this season.
Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season. As for Daingerfield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-4.
Jefferson strolled past Daingerfield in their previous matchup on December 12th by a score of 60-41. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Daingerfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
