Carson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against West, falling 56-19. Carson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Carson struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Dominguez was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 48-47 to Centennial. It was the first time this season that Dominguez let down their fans at home.
Carson's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Dominguez, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
