Pebblebrook is 0-6 against McEachern since March of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Pebblebrook Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the McEachern Indians at 5:55 p.m. Pebblebrook knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully McEachern likes a good challenge.
Pebblebrook took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past Osborne 13-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Falcons have posted against the Cardinals since April 13, 2021.

Sinsaire Walker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off 11 hits. Walker was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Pebblebrook's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Jhaki Stewart and Criston Thomas did most of the damage at the plate: Stewart scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Thomas scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Stewart is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. James (Tre) Morrow was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Pebblebrook always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, McEachern's undefeated season came to an end after 14 games on Wednesday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillgrove. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.
McEachern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leandro Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Tyce Williams also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Pebblebrook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, McEachern fell to 14-1.
Friday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Pebblebrook has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .507. However, it's not like McEachern struggles in that department as they've averaged .486. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pebblebrook suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to McEachern when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Can Pebblebrook avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
