Beatrice entered their tilt with Adams Central on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 14-3 victory. Considering the Orangemen have won 12 contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jada Berke made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last ten games.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooke Gleason, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. She has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Karrigan Henrichs, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
