Bo Tellez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Northridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.
Roosevelt came out on top against Niwot on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Roughriders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cougars 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Roughriders have posted since September 5th.
Kenzie Maddox looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cali Bly, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Molly Vetter was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Northridge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Roosevelt struggles in that department as they've averaged .471. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
