Camden County and Colquitt County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Camden County Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Colquitt County Packers at 7:00 p.m. Camden County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Camden County will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Lowndes, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Camden County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 victory over Lowndes on Saturday.

Camden County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mahliya Reeder, who posted 12 points and eight steals. Reeder is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Dasmine N Cooper, who earned three points in addition to nine boards and seven steals.
Meanwhile, Colquitt County was able to grind out a solid win over Tift County on Monday, taking the game 56-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Packers.
Camden County better focus on containing Nacardia Robinson and Amira Walters- Smith as the pair were huge in Colquitt County's win. Robinson dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Walters- Smith had 17 points along with six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Robinson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amareyia Knighton, who put up eight points and three steals.
Camden County pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Colquitt County, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Camden County has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Colquitt County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
