South Paulding had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs. Considering the Spartans have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

South Paulding's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

South Paulding will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kennesaw Mountain: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
