Gompers Prep Academy has struggled against the Raptor recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Gompers Prep Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nadia Mohamed, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Valdovinos, who scored six points.
Gompers Prep Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11. As for High Tech NC, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1.
Gompers Prep Academy will take on the Redhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for High Tech NC, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
