Meanwhile, Lanesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to Mabel-Canton at home by a 44-26 margin.
The victory got Kingsland back to even at 1-1. As for Lanesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Kingsland against Lanesboro in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 as the squad secured a 46-0 win.
