The Harbor Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Harbor's game was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 42-36 win over Anzar.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harbor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julianne Sanguinetti, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Keili Carriere, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, KIPP San Jose Collegiate scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by East Palo Alto Academy on the road to the tune of 65-7. That 65-7 margin sets a new team best for KIPP San Jose Collegiate this season.
Harbor's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
Everything went Harbor's way against KIPP San Jose Collegiate in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 as Harbor made off with a 54-31 win. Does Harbor have another victory up their sleeve, or will KIPP San Jose Collegiate turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
