If the Rosemead Panthers were riding high off their 55-18 takedown of the Hoover Tornados on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rosemead fell 41-31 to Alhambra on Wednesday.
Leading Alhambra to victory were Megan Lai and Samantha Du. Lai scored 13 points, while Du scored 15 points along with 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lai has scored at least 25% of Alhambra's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimberly Duarte- Lew, who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds.
Rosemead's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alhambra, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Rosemead will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Saddleback at 7:00 p.m. Alhambra's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hoover at 3:15 p.m. on December 1st.
