The Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They claimed a resounding 71-13 win over MMI Preparatory School at home. Given Greater Nanticoke Area's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while MMI Preparatory School is ranked 592nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, MMI Preparatory School still got an impressive performance from Bria Kringe, who scored 11 points along with three steals. That was a full 84.6% of MMI Preparatory School's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Greater Nanticoke Area's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. As for MMI Preparatory School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
Greater Nanticoke Area will head out on the road to take on Lake-Lehman at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for MMI Preparatory School, they will be playing at home against Holy Redeemer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Redeemer will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
