South Davidson is 0-10 against North Rowan since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The South Davidson Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the North Rowan Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. South Davidson is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, South Davidson ended up a good deal behind West Davidson and lost 61-46.
Meanwhile, North Rowan pushed their score all the way to 66 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lexington. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Rowan in their matchups with Lexington: they've now lost three in a row.
South Davidson has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for North Rowan, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
South Davidson took a serious blow against North Rowan in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 73-44. Can South Davidson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
