The Neshannock Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Greenville Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Greenville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Neshannock, who comes in off a win.
Neshannock scored the most points they've had all season to find success two weeks ago. They came out on top against Freedom Area by a score of 54-47. The victory was just what Neshannock needed coming off of a 88-38 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Greenville came up short against Sharpsville on Monday and fell 42-33. Greenville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Neshannock's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Greenville, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Neshannock came up short against Greenville when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 48-44. Can Neshannock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
