Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neumann Regional Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Breanna Nixon, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Those 18 points gave Nixon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Niyah Tutler, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 18 points.
Neumann Regional Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, South Williamsport was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Monday as they fell 44-38 to Montoursville. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Akers is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for South Williamsport, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Neumann Regional Academy has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like South Williamsport struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
