While Wheeler County put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Montgomery County. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Wheeler County's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Montgomery County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Wheeler County will head out to square off against Pierce County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montgomery County, they will challenge Atkinson County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
