St. Lucy is 0-10 against Upland since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The St. Lucy's Regents will be playing in front of their home fans against the Upland Highlanders/Scots at 4:45  p.m. Upland took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Lucy's, who comes in off a win.
 St. Lucy's had to endure  a  six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Workman 39-21  on Friday. The  victory was just what St. Lucy's needed coming off of a  85-8 loss in their prior  game.
  Kira Carroll was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  she  pulled down eight or more   rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Danika Mejico, who  scored 11 points along with eight  rebounds and six  assists.
 Upland lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed on  on Thursday was a bit more commanding. Their  tough  45-22 defeat to Rancho Cucamonga  might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Upland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 531st, while Rancho Cucamonga is ranked 139th).
 St. Lucy's win  ended a four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 10-11. As for Upland, they bumped their record down to 9-13 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 St. Lucy's took a serious blow against Upland  in their previous matchup  on January 5th, falling  60-15. Will St. Lucy's have more luck at home instead of on the road?  Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
