Softball Recap: Seckinger Wins Going Away Against Dacula

Seckinger barely beat Dacula the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars blew past the Falcons 12-3 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Seckinger got a great performance from Annmarie Nagy as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Megan Whitt was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Milan Torres, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Seckinger and bumps their season record up to 8-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Dacula, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seckinger will welcome Cherokee Bluff at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dacula, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Gwinnett at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
