The Red Lion Lions won the last time they faced the Hempfield Black Knights, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Red Lion strolled past Hempfield with  points to spare, taking the game  65-50.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Lion to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Reagan Smith, who  scored 24 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Smith has scored at least 25% of Red Lion's points.  Julia Sedora was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with five  steals and four  blocks.
 Red Lion's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hempfield, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  bumped their record down to 3-5.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Lion will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against New Oxford at 7:30  p.m.  on January 5th. As for Hempfield, they will  challenge Penn Manor at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Penn Manor will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 525th, while Hempfield is ranked 259th).
