Immanuel extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Kiera Thomas. The Immanuel Eagles secured a 37-32 W over the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears on Wednesday thanks in part to Thomas, who posted 18 points along with seven boards and three steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Davila, who had two points and five rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in December of 2024.
Several Golden Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. As for Sierra Pacific, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 14-7.
Immanuel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-27 win against Central Valley Christian on the 31st. Sierra Pacific has also already played their next contest, a 66-22 victory against Reedley on the 31st.
