Ware County came tearing into Friday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Warner Robins Demons a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ware County pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Warner Robins, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ware County will take on West Laurens at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warner Robins, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wayne County at 5:00 p.m. on April 8.
