The Sheridan Blackhawks entered their tilt with the Western Boone Stars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Sheridan blew past Western Boone, posting a 72-32 win at home. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 23 more assists than your opponent, as Sheridan did.
Sheridan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzie Garner out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists. The match was Garner's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nova Cross, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Sheridan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Western Boone, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will face off against Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankfort comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Western Boone's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on November 28th. Cascade is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
