Tahlequah got a  massive  performance out of  Lilly Garcia, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addie Davis, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Tahlequah  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in 16 consecutive  matchups.
Tahlequah's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 15-2. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for McAlester,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-7.
 Tahlequah has already played their next contest,  an  11-0  win against Wister on the 4th. As for McAlester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  12-0  victory against Hugo on the 4th.
