Jahdiel Roberts made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Roberts was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Roberts wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Karin Coranado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another was Joshua Gonzalez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Fremont's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Fremont has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Franklin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Fremont couldn't quite finish off Franklin when the teams last played back in May of 2023 and fell 6-4. Can Fremont avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
