Atrisco Heritage Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rio Grande Ravens 57-7. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won five in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atrisco Heritage Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gianluca Ramirez, who rushed for 16 yards and one TD, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. The Jaguars also got help from Deon Session, who showed off his sure hands for 92 receiving yards.

Atrisco Heritage Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Marcos Lucero, Isaiah Montoya, and Zayland Ingram picked up one apiece.

Atrisco Heritage Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Rio Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Atrisco Heritage Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Albuquerque at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Rio Grande, they will look to defend their home field on the 13th against Miyamura at 11:00 a.m. The game will give the Ravens their first taste of in-conference action this season.
