The Overfelt Royals will head out on the road to take on the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Overfelt is hoping to put an end to a 21-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Overfelt was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-34 to James Lick.
Meanwhile, Yerba Buena scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gunderson 46-19 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Yerba Buena has managed all season.
Overfelt's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Yerba Buena, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.
Overfelt took their win against Yerba Buena in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 47-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Overfelt since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
