This season hasn't been kind to the Jurupa Hills Spartans, who are still winless after their 12th match. They were beaten by Rialto 77-12 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jurupa Hills has scored all season.
Carrington Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rialto, scoring 27 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Davis is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Yamileth Perez, who scored ten points along with three steals and two blocks.
Jurupa Hills' loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-12. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.0 points per game. As for Rialto, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jurupa Hills will take on Grand Terrace at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Terrace presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jurupa Hills in California (Grand Terrace is ranked 450th, while Jurupa Hills is ranked 1160th). As for Rialto, they will be playing at home against Carter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
