The Berwick Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Berwick focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Thursday.
Berwick's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to Riverside.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was RaeAnna Andreas, who scored 14 points. She scored a full 43.8% of Berwick's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Starr, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Louis E. Dieruff had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. Their rough 50-29 defeat to Easton Area on Wednesday might stick with them for a while.
Abington Heights' win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Berwick's loss dropped theirs to 0-2.
