On Thursday, the Pacific Ridge Firebirds kept a clean sheet against the Santa Fe Christian Eagles. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 1-0. Pacific Ridge wouldn't have won without Sophie Wibbenmeyer, who scored the game-winner.
The victory made it two in a row for Pacific Ridge and bumps their season record up to 12-6-3. As for Santa Fe Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9-2.
Pacific Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Santa Fe Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
