After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Amat, the Serra Cavaliers were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They strolled past Bishop Conaty-Loretto with points to spare, taking the game 49-35. That's another feather in the cap for Serra, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Serra's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaicia Snelson led the charge by scoring 13 points. Snelson is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Ryleigh Boagni was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Serra has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-13 record this season. As for Bishop Conaty-Loretto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-19.
