In what's become a running theme this season, Lyons gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Gananda Central with a sharp 85-62 victory. With Lyons ahead 48-22 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Avon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Rochester Academy 86-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Lyons' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Avon, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
