West Lyon was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sheldon on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Orabs. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

West Lyon's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Sheldon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

West Lyon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-8 win against Akron-Westfield on the 1st. As for Sheldon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Trinity Christian on the 1st.
