St. Vincent de Paul is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over South Fork on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Will Hankins made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, three runs, and three stolen bases. He has become a key player for St. Vincent de Paul: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-16 otherwise.

In other batting news, St. Vincent de Paul got a massive performance out of Jacob Troy, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Troy a new career-high. Tyler Chelew was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
St. Vincent de Paul always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Montgomery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Analy.
Like St. Vincent de Paul, Montgomery also got a great game from a two-way player: Ryder Dienhart. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Dienhart has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Thomas Coleman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Justin Howard, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
St. Vincent de Paul's victory bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
