New Jersey High School Basketball - Nutley ripped by Hackensack
The Hackensack Comets basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Nutley Maroon Raiders to 40 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.
The Comets now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a NNJIL A contest on Tuesday, February 10. Hackensack will confront a Bengals team coming off a 40-36 non-league win over West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 10-7.
The Maroon Raiders (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Bergen Tech was routed by Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ), 66-26, in a non-league contest.
