In Tuesday's league outing, the Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ), by a margin of 60-38.

The Comets (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders go into the Big North - VI outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Ramapo smashed Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ), 67-38, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Indian Hills for a Big North - VI bout on Thursday, January 7. Paramus will play a Braves squad coming off a 60-56 league loss to Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 0-5.
