The Summit Hilltoppers tipped the visiting Hillside Comets basketball team by a final score of 53-51 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in a Union County game, on Thursday, January 11. Summit will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 59-42 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ).

With the defeat, Hillside moves to 2-6 on the year. The Comets travel to Abraham Clark (Roselle, NJ) to face the Rams in a Union County contest on Thursday, January 11. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
