In Friday's league outing, the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), by a count of 62-39.

The Hilltoppers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hillside (Hillside, NJ). The Comets go into the Mountain Valley - Valley outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Hillside was crushed by Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ), 70-69, in a league outing.

The Crusaders now hold a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Oratory Prep for a Mountain Valley - Valley outing on Tuesday, January 15. Johnson will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 70-69 league win over Hillside (Hillside, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 3-7.
