Christie Louer

Christie Louer has been named player of the year. "Christie Louer for the last four years has been the staple of hard work, sacrifice and grit that many programs covet. Previous seasons she was asked to run the 6-2 as both Setter and Hitter. This season (5-1 system) we asked her to play more of a fluid pin hitter in order to take advantage of blocking disadvantages and allow other teammates single block opportunities to score. Louer has been steady all season in a three phases of the game. Aces along with big service runs to close out matches. Defense and serve receive to pace our offense and allow others to grow into their roles. Exceeded in the attack department and scored often when the ball found her. Aside from being a strong player she also was voted by her peers to be captain and did brilliantly in bringing the team together.
