The Gadsden Panthers nudged the visiting Deming Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Las Cruces for a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, March 27.

Next, the Wildcats face the Onate Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Deming will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
