The Buffaloes now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clovis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 7. Melrose will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-9.

The Coyotes (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Floyd (Floyd, NM). The Broncos go into the A/AA District 7 game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Floyd overcame Valley Christian Academy (Roswell, NM), 3-2, in a non-league game.
