The Eunice Cardinals baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Texico Wolverines to 2 in the Cardinals league win on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now own a 20-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dexter for a non-league test on Thursday, April 23. Eunice will play a Demons team coming off a 15-2 league loss to New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM). The Demons record now stands at 4-13.

With the defeat, Texico drops to 7-9 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, April 24. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 13-5. Tularosa lost 11-10 in their recent non-league test against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM)
