Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 2-0 in a league battle.

The Bulldawgs (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights enter the 5A District 3 battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Organ Mountain held off Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 5-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 battle, on Monday, April 14. Gadsden will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 12-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
