In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Animas Panthers basketball squad scored a nice 70-55 victory over the Reserve Mountaineers.

With the victory, Animas improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Immanuel Baptist (El Paso, TX) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 24-6. Immanuel Baptist won 54-43 in their recent league challenge against Faith Christian (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Mountaineers battle the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 7. Reserve will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Steers come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 53-47 non-league win over Quemado (Quemado, NM).
