Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) and the host Animas Panthers (Animas, NM), saw Reserve's basketball squad wallop Animas by a count of 55-25.

With the victory, Reserve upgrades its record to 6-18 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Quemado (Quemado, NM) to encounter the Eagles in a 1A District 2 test on Wednesday, February 25. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 19-7. Quemado won 81-55 in their recent league test against Reserve (Reserve, NM)
