In Saturday's league outing, the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), by a margin of 77-43.

The Bobcats (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals go into the 4A District 1 outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Gallup was trounced by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 62-60, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Shiprock for a 4A District 1 outing on Thursday, January 27. Aztec will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 68-36 league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-13.
