New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup topples Belen
In Tuesday's league outing, the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), by a margin of 73-60.
The Bengals (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the 4A District 6 outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Los Lunas gained a win over Grants (Grants, NM), 57-48, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miyamura for a 4A District 6 outing on Friday, February 10. Belen will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 50-46 league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Patriots record now stands at 3-18.
