The Bloomfield Bobcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Bernalillo Spartans to 53 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. Bloomfield will play a Panthers squad coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.

Next up, the Spartans play the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Bernalillo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Scorpions come into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 39-31 non-league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM).
