The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 15-11. Lordsburg won 75-33 in their recent league bout against Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM)

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Mesilla Valley Christian Blazers (Las Cruces, NM) in a 2A District 5 bout, on Friday, February 20. Capitan will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 23-2 record after their 59-34 league win over Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM).
